National Day of Prayer Thursday - May 7, 2015
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
Our church, North Creek, is opening our sanctuary on that day, Thursday, May 7th, from 9am - 3pm for any who wish to come in and pray for our nation. A prayer card highlighting national prayer needs will be provided to all who enter. There will be no church service. Simply come and go for a short or longer time of personal prayer for our Nation.
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20 (ESV)
If you are unable to visit our church sanctuary prayer time, please set aside a special time to pray for our country's needs.
