North Creek Explorer 5K Run/Walk
We invite you to join us at North Creek Church—Your Hometown Church for the 18th Annual North Creek Explorer 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 5 PM.
For many years, the North Creek Explorer 5K has been a local favorite, bringing together runners, families, friends, and neighbors for a fun Saturday evening in our hometown. With live music, food, and a great community atmosphere, the race is a wonderful opportunity to come together while supporting the Coconut Creek Police Explorer Program. Participants also have the opportunity to meet and connect with officers from the Coconut Creek Police Department.
As Your Hometown Church, North Creek Church is proud to be part of an event that celebrates community, builds relationships, and supports the young people participating in the Coconut Creek Police Explorer Program. We look forward to welcoming runners and their families and friends for another memorable evening in our hometown!
The race will begin at 5 PM and conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing the overall top male and female runners, as well as the top male and female age-group winners. Awards will also be presented to the top male and female first responders.
The first 175 finishers will receive a medal!
The Cause
All proceeds will directly benefit the Coconut Creek Police Department Explorer Program that supports protecting and serving our future community. The Explorers Program provides students, ages 14 – 18, actual experience and training for a career in law enforcement. Proceeds will cover costs for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions and supplies. Without your help students cannot cover these costs or pursue their passion - giving back to the community. Help us meet our fundraising goal of $5,000 and give these students and our community the bright future it deserves! Show your support by signing up for the race or simply donating below.
